1. Install and configure Zabbix for your platform

for 22.04

wget https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.4/ubuntu/pool/main/z/zabbix-release/zabbix-release_6.4-1+ubuntu22.04_all.deb –no-check-certificate

for 24.04

wget https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.4/ubuntu/pool/main/z/zabbix-release/zabbix-release_latest%2Bubuntu24.04_all.deb –no-check-certificate

dpkg :

dpkg -i zabbix-release_6.4-1+ubuntu22.04_all.deb

apt update

apt install zabbix-agent2 zabbix-agent2-plugin-*

sudo nano /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.conf 

...

Server=<Zabbix_Server_IP>

ServerActive=<Zabbix_Server_IP>

Hostname=<Hostname_Of_Ubuntu_Client>

...

systemctl restart zabbix-agent2

systemctl enable zabbix-agent2

firewall

sudo ufw allow from 78.157.42.213 to any port 10050 proto tcp

or

sudo ufw allow 10050/tcp

reload

sudo ufw reload

check status

sudo ufw status verbose

for delete rule

sudo ufw status numbered

inter your row number

sudo ufw delete X

reload

sudo ufw reload
